We’re excited to announce that NH Gives is now accepting donations starting Monday, June 10, opening the ability to donate prior to the start of the 24-hour giving period (June 11 at 6pm-June 12 at 6pm. Donations received before 6pm on June 11 and after 6pm on June 12 do not count towards any of the prizes.)

The donation window will close at midnight on Friday, June 14, to allow anyone who missed the June 12 6pm deadline to still be able to make a donation.

Help Support BHTNH Mission During NH Gives Days

In times like these, when some are fostering hate and fear, the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire counters the narrative with inspiring stories of inclusion, courage, and hope. We are building a way for New Hampshire to proudly present its history with its African American roots that extend to 1645. Your gift ensures that truth is among our highest values in this state and that humanity and the way we connect to each other matters.

Please consider making a gift to the BHTNH

Your tax deductible contribution in any amount helps us with our work to open hearts and minds for a deeper understanding of who we are as a collective and to recognize that we share a uniquely American heritage as we expand throughout the state. Your gift helps us provide:

  • Tours and educational outreach
  • Special free community dialogue events like the Tea Talks and Juneteenth
  • Expand the Black Heritage Trail into other communities in the state

With sincere and heartfelt thanks,

JerriAnne Boggis, Executive Director
Rev. Robert Thompson, President of the Board
