Story Scroll & The Art of Collage

Join Artist L’Merchie Frazier for a Talk and Workshop as you learn the art of collage and make your own story scroll. Bring your hopeful thoughts, 5 of your favorite words, and a favorite quote. Items to recycle that you might want to bring: newspaper or magazine clippings, fabric or cloth from clothing to be discarded, tissue paper, gift paper, handmade art paper, ribbon, buttons, small objects, or trinkets.
L’Merchie Frazier is the Director of Education at the Museum of African American History in Boston. Her work is currently on display in the BHTNH gallery.
Cost: $20 for adults, $10 for children under 12
Children should be able to use scissors and must be accompanied by an adult.
